| the dahlias in the garden are blooming so beautifully |

| ...and the roses too |
For en helg... syprosjekt gjennomført, internasjonal salgsmesse for brukskunst og design - dvs. smykker, keramikk, mote etc. - idrettskonkurranse for barnebarna... og fint høstvær, inkludert matlaging.
Da er det tid for mitt syprosjekt.
What a week... sewing project completed, international sales fair for applied arts and design - i.e. jewellery, ceramics, fashion etc. - sports competition for the grandchildren... and beautiful autumn weather, including cooking and baking.
Then it's time to show my sewing project... fine cotton jersey, which I bought, among other things, at the fabric market last weekend...
From the jersey fabric I sewed a t-shirt with long sleeves and a small edge of linen fabric at the end. I like the sleeves wide and long. I closed the collar with a wide waistband... the right T-shirt for autumn.
It's wonderful to wear... I'm happy and already have the next piece in mind :-))
I baked with apples and plums - delicious :-)
I wish you all a wonderful week.
Viola
Hei Viola!
AntwortenLöschenSkal si du har fått gjort mye. Vakre blomster og vakkert mønster på t-skjorten.
Ha en fin uke!
Klem fra Marit
You sew well and cook well too, Viola. Sounds like someone I live with! If I remember you bought a whole stash of fabrics (my wife would have loaded the car!) so we can no doubt look forward to other creations. Maybe you will even model them for us.
AntwortenLöschenThat Dahlia is gorgeous. I love Dahlias but they get nibbled by earwigs in my garden :-(
AntwortenLöschenLoving the groovy fabric you used to sew the long-sleeved t-shirt, and your apple and plum cake is looking mouthwateringly delicious! xxx
Your shirt is really nice. It will be perfect for full fall days.
Kram Carin
What a great t shirt - I love the linen detail on the sleeves. Delicious baking and great flower photographs. xx

AntwortenLöschenHi Viola! Your food looks wonderful, love the flowers, too. And your shirt is fantastic- Have a great week, hugs, Valerie
AntwortenLöschenAmazing that your Dahlia is still blooming. It's a pretty one.
AntwortenLöschenYour apple/plum cake is a great idea. Two different kinds in one pan.
You're such a good seamstress and your latest project turned out just as you wanted it to. Google still insists I am anonymous. Granny Marigold
Hej Viola!
Your shirt is wonderful, Viola! The colours of your flowers and your leaves are beautiful, and your cake looks delicious.

Viola - thanks for your recent visit to my blog. I took a blogging break while we were in the UK but now I am back and catching up. The dahlia picture is stunning and I like the pretty jersey fabric you chose for your t-shirt. When we left home for our trip it was Autumn; we returned to a winter wonderland complete with six inches of snow!
AntwortenLöschenThe apple and plum cake looks great! As does the top!
