Snow and new sewing project
Dette er mitt nye syprosjekt... Jeg vil på en eller annen måte lage den til en frakk - kort frakk. Og jeg må si, det er ikke lett :-)) Men folk liker å lære nye ting!!! Jeg kan fortelle deg mer om det senere. Sidelommene kan sees på bildet. Krysser fingrene for meg, i alle fall alle bloggervenner som er kjent med symaskinen :-) Ja, og neste gang skal jeg sy en enkel veske igjen...så lett å ha på seg... deilig og avslappet :-)
This is my new sewing project... I want to put it together somehow into a coat - short coat. And I have to say, it's not easy :-))) But humans like to learn new things!!! I'll be able to tell you more about it later. The side pockets can be seen in the photo. Keep your fingers crossed for me, at least all blogging friends who are also familiar with the sewing machine :-))) Yes and next time I'll sew a bag again :-)) so easy to wear... nice and cozy :-)

AntwortenLöschenYour snow is beautiful. We get snow once or twice each winter and I love it. Good luck with your coat! I am making a linen dress for summer and am putting pockets in it, too. Sewing summer clothes in January is odd, but I just felt like it, so I am doing it!

Good morning, Viola. It's great to see your name pop up in my blog feed. Let me know how it goes with the coat and I will send you my measurements and colour choices so that I will be able to brag about my "Design by Viola" coat. I will be the envy of southern Ontario residents young and old. We have similar snow conditions as yours, so that will give you a hint as to the kind of coat I am looking for. As a naturalist, I will need lots of pockets of course. I am looking forward to our consultation on this matter, and of course to parading outdoors in my new designer coat! How exciting!

Yes, the snow is beautiful and transforms the landscape into a fairyland. We are getting snow flurries this coming week but so far not very much is expected. Still, I will sit with my cup of tea and watch it falling. Happy sewing! Granny Marigold

AntwortenLöschenDet har vært flott lenge i Oslo også, men så kom mildvær og ødela alt sammen, og det ble helt forferdelig glatt. Så kom litt ny snø, og nå er det -10 grader, men det skal bli mildere igjen.
Lykke til med sying! Jeg husker godt alt jeg sydde for mange år siden - også kåpe og drakter! Men det gjør jeg ikke lenger.

AntwortenLöschenSå herlige vinterbilder! Jeg vet jo hvordan det ser ut i området dere bor, og skjønner at det er gode muligheter for friluftsliv både sommer og vinter. Jeg er ikke så glad i å gå på ski, kanskje handler det om at det er så mørkt her i en lang periode på vinteren. Og nå regner det...
AntwortenLöschenDu er flink til å sy. Her står fremdeles symaskinen på loftet. Jeg strikker heller, og nå har jeg en genser til min datter på pinnene.
Nå er sola tilbake, og om en måneds tid er det skreifestival. Vi venter fremdeles på det store innsiget av skrei og krysser fingene for at det skjer snart.

I hope you had success with your sewing project. I haven't done any sewing for years, but at one time I made all my own clothes. The snow pictures are beautiful.
