Oh how nice...
I got mail from Paris, a lovely little vacation card in the mailbox...
I will be sending postcards from my vacation this year... yes!!!
To celebrate the full enjoyment, I made myself an ice cream - vanilla and chocolate - with fruits - blueberries, peaches and pineapple - topped with my homemade blackcurrant liqueur... it's heavenly.
Paris - that's it. Are you also a fan of the Olympics?
We have the opportunity to follow the Olympics in live streams without advertising. I love watching all kinds of sports...
So, I'm busy... not just on TV :-)))
I also do a bit of physical activity myself...
ha - not this dumbbell, it was just my decoration, but I've been using these bands... I enjoy it and there are very demanding exercises with it.
Sewing is also in progress.
And there are tours through the city and across the country.
... mostly across the country.
Summer is so wonderful.

AntwortenLöschenYes I will be watching the olympics, I enjoy sports. I was quite active myself in my youth. Riding, tennis, squash. In school I was part of all teams, basketball, volleyball, running, and a special ballsport that is only playd in Finland. Pesäpallo, quite similar to baseball. I have several medals for being the best schoolteam.
Nowadays I mostly use my bycicle.

AntwortenLöschenDein Eis klingt absolut lecker, liebe Viola, da würde ich auch gerne eine Portion davon naschen! Weil wir aber kein Eis zu Hause haben und auch keinen Johannisbeerlikör, werde ich mir nachher zumindest einen Obstsalat machen :-)
AntwortenLöschenIch bin überhaupt keine Sport-Anguckerin. Damit habe ich aufgehört, als Ingemar Stenmark keine Skirennen mehr fuhr. Olympia findet also wieder ohne mich statt. Genauso ist es bei sämtlichen Fußball-Welt- oder Europameisterschaften und beim Song Contest und was es sonst noch so an Bewerben im TV gibt. Es ist mir da wie dort schlicht und ergreifend egal, wer gewinnt :-D
Was für ein entzückender Oldtimer. Ich liebe Classic Cars! Und deine "across the country"-Bilder sehen auch sehr schön aus.

Danke für deine lieben Zeilen bei mir, liebe Viola! Sehr gut, dass du beim Sport dran bleibst. Mein Mann und ich sind auch zumeist 2-3 Mal pro Woche im Fitnesscenter oder unernehmen etwas anderes Sportliches - auch wenn ich längst nicht so sportbegeistert bin, wie mein Bruder es immer war. Aber ich merke, was mir fehlt, wenn ich es auslasse. Heute habe ich mich wieder mit einem "hochintensiven Intervalltraining" ausgepowert.

Lustig, dass die Klosterkrapfen (oder Faschingskrapfen) bei euch Pfannkuchen heißen. Ich dachte, der in Deutschland gültige Name ist "Berliner"... und Pfannkuchen sind das, was bei uns Palatschinken heißt... Aber offenbar gibt's da auch reginale Unterschiede... Wieder was dazugelernt.

AntwortenLöschenI'm interested in the swimming in the Olympic. One of the TV Stations here in Australia broadcasts the Olympics for free with a few ads now and then, I turn a deaf ear to ads.
I watch via stream, our TV channels publish it by sport and comment... that would be great for you, you could watch the swimming competitions and can also fast forward back and forth - without advertising.

i LOVE the olympics, and and have been watching the qualifying events! i also watched the swimmer from paris who won the gold medal. when chuck and i vacation, we each write out a postcard, he to me and me to him. we write about the trip and what our favorite parts were, then send it home. it sure is fun to receive them a few days later when you have forgotten you even sent them. i have saved them all. sewing and knitting are more my speed, as i am getting older i exercise less. it is a cute picture of you!!

It is very nice to see you among your photographs. Your dessert looks very yummy. I have just finished a smoothie with blueberries, blackberries, banana mixed with coconut water. I usually have strawberries but I need to go to the store for those. I have been watching some of the Olympics and have enjoyed what I have seen. I will watch more today. AntwortenLöschenYes, I am a big fan of the Olympics.. I will miss them when they are over. Not so much a fan of summer. Most of our summer has been in the 90s which is way too warm ...dew points in the 70s.. Too tropical for me... I have been pretty much confined to the air conditioning.

AntwortenLöschenbei diesem herrlichen Sommerwetter ist ein Eis Pflicht, ob selbst gemacht mit leckeren Zutaten oder selbst gekauft ;-)) ist eigentlich egal, Hauptsache kalt... Eiskalt... Ja, die olympischen Spiele sind schon aufregend, aber ich werde sie mir nicht ansehen, wirklich zu aufregend und sie gefallen mir auch nicht mehr... Dafür nähe ich lieber und bin im Garten, mache Spaziergänge mit meinem Mann, das ist beruhigend. Deine Näharbeiten sind schön und ich bekomme Lust, auch wieder mit meiner Nähmaschine zusammen zu arbeiten, Projekte sind genug da.
Ich wünsche Dir einen schönen Sommer mit vielen tollen Genussmomenten und lasse liebe Drosselgartengrüße da.

Så vakre bilder! Og koselig med kort. I år sendte jeg kun ett postkort da jeg var på ferie. Det ble sendt med motiv fra Nordkapp og til små og store på jobb. Isen ser himmelsk ut. Og modent korn på åkrene der dere bor er et flott syn. Så synes jeg at du er flittig som trener. Her blir det noen turer til fots og på sykkel, men lite systematisk...
