The best thing about Advent is the lights and the cozy atmosphere... I folded lots of stars and, best of all, it snowed...

I love the stage and the theatre. It was a fantastic performance. I still have tickets for "The Snow Queen" and "Ronja the Robber's Daughter" and I'm really looking forward to it.
And a special treat during Advent are the Christmas markets, which are scattered throughout the city.

Liebe Viola, jedes Foto strahlt die Freude von Weihnachten aus. Dein Stern und deine Plätzchen sehen wundervoll aus, und ein Theaterbesuch ist immer ein Genuss, besonders aber in dieser Jahreszeit, wenn man sich auf die Lieblingsstücke aus der Kindheit freut. Die Weihnachtsmärkte sehen so einladend und fröhlich aus mit all den Lichtern und Weihnachtsbäumen. Ich würde sie so gerne einmal selbst besuchen. Meine Schwester wird in wenigen Tagen in die Heimatstadt unserer Mutti reisen. Bach: Jauchzet, Frohlocket - Weihnachtsoratorium in der Frauenkirche. Meine Schwester hat diese Reise von ihrem Sohn als Geburtstagsgeschenk zu ihrem 80. Geburtstag bekommen. Sie freut sic auch sehr auf den Dresdener Weihnachtsmarkt.

There is one in Vancouver that we have attended when our children lived in the city. Vendors come from Germany with authentic wares. There is Gluhwein and bratwurst!

It looks like you have enjoyed some wonderful shows and performances recently. They must have been fun to enjoy with family and friends. We went to a Christmas market a few weeks ago and it was lovely to wander around the stalls and see the food, drink and hand made items for sale. Thank you for sharing your lovely photos.
