One of the most beautiful things we possess is our ability to move freely, whether in nature or in the interaction between people, plants, animals, or materials... an inexhaustible wealth of possibilities lies open to us. And whoever does so will find profound joy within themselves.
Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of seeing performances by the Mimenstudio e.V. Dresden. Every year in November, the Mimenstudio organizes an international festival in Dresden featuring fantastic artists.

The Mimenstudio Dresden e.V. was founded in 1999 and emerged from the Mimenbühne Dresden, which was founded in 1982.
It does a fantastic job.
Sports clubs are also doing a very good job, as demonstrated by the Saxon Gymnastics Club - STV - this past weekend. They hosted the Saxon Championships in Chemnitz, this year's cultural capital.
To our great delight, our team fought their way to first place. The gymnasts are a truly wonderful community.
My grandchildren are in the gymnastics club, and the competitions in the various cities always include a small family reunion for us, in addition to the joy of the sporting event.
Preparations for the Christmas season are in full swing everywhere… The first Sunday of Advent is already on the last day of this month.
Anticipation – the greatest joy!
How fun to watch your grandchildren compete in gymnastics. I was interested in that when I was young. Never very good but I enjoyed trying. All your photos are spectacular.

Dear Viola, I really like how you wrote about the most beautiful thing we have. Finding deep joy within ourselves is a very desirable and achievable goal in our lives. We learn this over the years, and we don't look for it always outside of ourselves.
AntwortenLöschenSometimes I also see the preparation for Christmas, but especially for Advent. The light strings are already up in very diverse places in my town. Lamps, shops, suspension above roads etc.T
They are not lit yet. It would be early, even though Advent is approaching. Just do everything in their time so that the expected experiences related to them do not fade away by arriving too early. It is my opinion, you can oppose it.
I saw a small tree decorated with light bulbs on the street. Only one! I was surprised, I took a picture and it's already on my blog.
By the way, I love the preparation for Advent and Christmas.

AntwortenLöschenI was never in gymnastics, but I went steady with the captain of the gymnastics team my junior year of high school. I went to all the meets and often watched the practices after school. Back then there were no girls gymnastics teams, not that I would have been any good at it--lol! I learned a lot and it is a tough sport.

Thank you for your recent comment on the low carb diabetic blog telling of how in Saxony, Germany, you will celebrate Repentance and Prayer Day, a day for reflection, conversion, and preparation for a new life. It is always observed on the Wednesday before the Sunday of the Dead (which is this Sunday).
Afterwards, Advent begins... the month of light.
