Enjoyment
I could walk around in the forest for hours... and the rapeseed fields are now blooming... heavenly colors.
I had a wonderful city day in Dresden with a visit to the Semper Opera.
"Othello" the play by William Shakespeare from 1605. Othello, the general of Venice, knows war, but little else. He is not a man to marry; his military career completely occupies him. And he is so vulnerable because Shakespeare does not introduce any power that opposes Othello's adversary Iago.
Desdemona falls in love - despite this - with the war hero and he falls in love with her. But it is this love that will be his downfall.
This is the basis for Giuseppe Verdi's last opera, which premiered in Milan in 1887 with extraordinary success.

...Viola, my tard of golden dandelions have turned to white too. The rapeseed fields are truly fields of gold. I wish a wonderful summer.
AntwortenLöschenViola, what a wonderful time you must have had at the opera. Thank you for sharing the wonderful pictures from your time there!

What a wonderful experience, Viola!
AntwortenLöschenI love dandelions--whether bright yellow or gone to seed. The yellow rapeseed field is beautiful. Dresden looks like a gorgeous city. The opera looks wonderful with beautiful costumes. And then Venice photos, too. Wow! Lovely post. Thanks for sharing it all. :)
AntwortenLöschenMe enamore de las flores. Espero que disfrutaras de la opera. Te mando un beso.
AntwortenLöschenGreat pictures Viola. Lovely to see that opera and the costumes look stunning. You look lovely in Venice. xx
Lovely photos, and it's pleasing you could go to an opera.
AntwortenLöschenWhat joyful photos of Springtime nature, Viola!
AntwortenLöschenDresden looks absolutely stunning, I will have to put it on my list of places to visit! xxx
It’s been a long time since I went to a live performance of opera, surely one of the great joys of being alive. It is such a glorious art form. We used to have a decent opera company here, but it ceased operation due to lack of support, unfortunately. Your post, as always, Viola, thrums with the sheer joy of being alive, and you look absolutely gorgeous in your flowing dress. With love, David
AntwortenLöschenLovely photos of the dandelion seed heads and seeing them growing in the wild is perfect. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing Othello. It must have been a wonderful experience to see a live performance at the opera. You look lovely in that pretty dress, Viola.
AntwortenLöschenMy husband and I will be off on holiday to Spain in a few weeks. Enjoy the rest of your week x
A little bit of nature, a little bit of culture, all so beautiful in their own way! Also what's beautiful is the photo of you from your Venice trip!
AntwortenLöschenHello Viola,
AntwortenLöschenWhat a nice post with fantastic places. Shot 9 and 10 are so nice with the view over a wonderful colored area and a fantastic sky.
And that must be nice to go for a trip by boat around all these wonderful buildings. So nice!!
Many greetings,
Marco
I never thought I would find seeded dandelions beautiful, but you changed my mind. Wonderful photos of a wonderful place and life.
AntwortenLöschenLovely week.
AntwortenLöschenEnjoy your time in Dresdedn or in the Woods, wherever you are. Lovely photo of you! Hugs, Valerie

How lovely is the flowers and you captured the dandelion so perfectly in your photo. Wonderful that you got to go to the Opera and the city of Venice is beautiful! You look so pretty in your dress!
AntwortenLöschenDear Viola :=)
AntwortenLöschenWonderful captures of fields and forest, and your visit to the opera images fill me with the desire to go to see a live performance if ever I get the chance. It must have been a thrilling experience to hear Verdi's music, and visually very beautiful. I have no holiday plans, but that's OK, I'm content to stay where I am.:=)
Warm hugs
Sonjia.
Bien cordialement
Hélène
What a lovely experience. And your Venetian dress nicely echoes the opera choir! Venice is one of my favourite cities, I have been there in all weathers and it is always wonderful.
AntwortenLöschenFabulous! Thank you for this incredible trip to Italy! I would have loved to see the opera!!! You are a beautiful lady and your gown is stunning !
AntwortenLöschenI like the beautiful old buildings. And how lucky you were to sit in the 6th row at the opera 💗. Thank you for this lovely post.

Hej Viola,
Her har løvetannen akkurat begynt å blomstre. Klem Marit Johanne
