The first are the snowdrops
It's always nice to see the first snowdrops. A few days later the snow had melted, we still have night frosts, but the temperature is expected to rise to 16 degrees Celsius on Wednesday... wonderful.
And I found more signs of spring...

It's a pleasure to turn to the spring wardrobe... I bought a nice cotton jersey and sewed myself a spring shirt.
I don't like the cut sleeves - even though they are easier to sew - I love well-fitting sleeves...they wear great and look much better.
I like the pattern of the fabric. I don't have anything like this in my closet yet.
Otherwise there were many walks
and hikes in the national park - now that the paths are ice-free.

I like the fabric of your new blouse, so bright and colorful. No spring flowers here yet, it's still too cold. The sap is running though in the maple trees, a lot of producers are collecting it, boiling it down into maple syrup. Delicious!

AntwortenLöschenSchneeglöckchen sind ein willkommener Frühlingsbote, Viola. Nach ihnen habe ich auch immer geschaut, und dann nach den blühenden Magnolien. Das waren in Tübingen, wo ich 22 Jahre lebte, die ersten Zeichen, dass der Frühling auf dem Weg war. Ach, das Elbsandsteingebirge - ich habe gute Erinnerungen an eine sehr schöne und lange Wanderung dort, als ich ein paar Tage in Pirna war - das ist lange her, ich glaube, es war 1992. Eine wunderschöne Gegend! Deine Nähkünste sind wirklich bewundernswert (Nähen ist mir ein Graus und ich bin völlig unbegabt, kann gerade mal die Fäden von meinen Stricksachen vernähen) und mir gefällt dieser Stoff unglaublich gut. Ich mag bunte Sachen und trage auch oft farbige Kleidung. Deine Fotos gefallen mir sehr gut, besonders der Weg mit den knorrigen Bäumen. Ich mag kahle Bäume im Winter, weil man dann so gut die Struktur sieht. Es ist einfach sehr interessant. Ich wünsche dir, dass du weiterhin in Frühlingsstimmung bleibst! AntwortenLöschensooo weit sind bei euch die Frühlingsblümchen schon 🥰😍🤩!?! Schneeglöckerl habe ich hier auch schon fotografiert, aber sonst tut sich bei uns noch nicht sonderlich viel. Das kann sich aber rasch ädern, denn wir hatten heute auch 16 Grad. Was hier absolut fehlt, sind Niederschläge. Wir hatten keinen Schnee in diesem Winter und kaum mal Regen.
