Advent calendar, starry light and
mulled wine
I'm in a wonderful mood for the Advent season, firstly the snow came on time, secondly we had a wonderful family celebration and thirdly I've already visited a few Christmas markets. I like the old markets with historical stalls and crafts... here are photos for you...
I am a person who embraces Christmas and allows myself to be embraced.
Christmas is the festival of joy, charity, family and security.
The time leading up to Christmas is a time for reflection and a time to switch back... the quietest time of the year.
I wish you happiness and joy.
...Christmas is my favorite time of year and someday I would like to Christmas market. Viola, enjoy the season!
What a fabulous Xmas series
AntwortenLöschenLovely post- I really enjoyed all the photos
AntwortenLöschenYour pictures from the Christmas markets are beautiful. I love Christmas markets but unfortunately, where we live there aren't any. I attended one in Mexico City one year and loved it!
AntwortenLöschenLovely winter market pictures... enjoy all the festivities...

AntwortenLöschenI love Christmas markets in Europe!!...enjoy them for me!....lovely pictures!!.......Abrazotes, Marcela
AntwortenLöschenDearest Viola,
AntwortenLöschenYou live in a beautiful region in 'The Old World' for celebrating Christmas!
ENJOY.
Hugs,
Mariette
Thank you Viola for your wishes.
AntwortenLöschenThank you for this wonderful post.
AntwortenLöschenI did enjoy your photographs.

All the photos are just beautiful but my favorite is the very first one.
AntwortenLöschenThis is my favorite time of year, too!! For all the reasons you mentioned. A time to love and kindness in the world one would hope. At least we can spread it to whomever we meet. That looks like a lovely market. :)
AntwortenLöschen
AntwortenLöschenThe Christmas markets are a treat to see.
I watch the videos made about them each year.
Happy Holidays!
The photos are lovely, I really like that last one, so sweet.
AntwortenLöschenTake care and keep enjoying.
Great pictures Viola, those little pastry parcels look tempting! xx
AntwortenLöschenWonderful things to see--- I am so grateful that you share these places with us. I hope your Christmas season is full of love and laughter.
AntwortenLöschenVerkligen vackra bilder från gamla traditionella julmarknader.
AntwortenLöschenKram Carin
It is a joyful season as we replay familiar old customs and habits.
Thanks for sharing the Christmas photos. I love red advent candles. That's what I use, but it's not common here.
AntwortenLöschenLovely post. Have a nice weekend.
Auguri, auguri !!
AntwortenLöschenThe markets look great and the family time sounds perfect. You are on your way to a wonderful Christmas.
AntwortenLöschenHow absolutely delightful do those Christmas markets look! The ones we have here - at least the ones I've been to - aren't nearly as exciting.
AntwortenLöschenAnd you've got snow! In fact, we had some snow last Sunday, but it was all gone by Monday morning :-( xxx
AntwortenLöschenHello Viola, Beautiful scenes of Christmas markets. They do such a wonderful job of stirring up the Christmas spirit. And the snow! Even more wonderful! Enjoy this Advent.
AntwortenLöschenHi Viola!
AntwortenLöschenI love the Christman season, and really enjoy this time. Lovely pictures from the Markets. We got snow and it has been quite cold, now the temperature has changed towards 0 degrees. I hope the snow doesn´t melt. Have a lovely weekend and second Advent.
/Marika
How beautiful!! I love all the photos!
AntwortenLöschenLooks like you had a good time!
hugs
Donna
Not something we celebrate, Viola, but you seem to be having a fine time with it. Merry Christmas! All the best - David
AntwortenLöschenSå mye flott julestemning! Tusen takk!
AntwortenLöschenVery interesting to see the sights from your side of the world! I looks a bit chilly there, as it is here. Mery Christmas to you and your family!
Klem
AntwortenLöschenHow I would love to wander that city and the market with you, Viola! And have a snack, and buy some gifts, and pet those precious dogs! Merry Christmas to you! xoxo
AntwortenLöschenDear Viola, on Saturday I also was at a Christmas market. We arrived at the daylight but were waiting until the evening to see the lights. It was very good.
AntwortenLöschenI wish we had Christmas markets like that here. So pretty! Have a lovely Christmas time!
Gleder meg over dagene mot jul. Kos deg videre med juleforberedelser og hygge. Klem Marit Johanne
Velkommen! :)
AntwortenLöschenThank you for sharing all the beautiful photos. I wish you a very blessed Christmas.

Those Christmas markets look wonderful to walk around and enjoy, Viola. I think any snow will be after Christmas here unfortunately.
AntwortenLöschenEnjoy the rest of your Christmas preparations x
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving your comment. Each one of your pictures is really beautiful and I love seeing other countries that I will never see in real life. They are all excellent. Merry Christmas from Florida USA
AntwortenLöschenI am one who embraces Christmas too! I hope yours is so very happy!
AntwortenLöschenThe Christmas carousel is lovely! All the outdoor decorations add to the cheer of the season. Wonderful! Your stoneware is nice, and the wine sounds like a wintery treat. I'm also one who embraces this season. Christmas is a joy to celebrate :)
AntwortenLöschenWonderful Christmas post
