Every year it is a great pleasure for me to enjoy the works of ceramists - this year - from German-speaking countries, Japan, France, Poland and the Czech Republic selected by a jury in the museum's courtyards. All works are available for purchase and yes, I bought something, even though I already have a lot of mugs in my cupboard :-))) A nice mug with coffee and tea is a must... right?
So now we have a coffee in the garden at home.
I wish you a relaxing time too, wherever you may be. Tell me about it.
Let's enjoy the present of a great summer. I LOVE the light! What an amazing exhibition! I would find some wonderful earth bowls, and maybe the frog would jump into my car :) Many greetings from Dori from the Bavarian Forest
Looks like it was a great show, Viola, with a fine array of products on display, and who could resist taking something home. The mug with the swift soaring boldly over the town would have garnered my attention. Like you, I don’t need another mug, but need has nothing to do with it! Big hugs from Ontario - David
Love seeing all the pottery! Your new mugs are such fun. I loved the glasses in the rainbow colors inside and many of the mugs, too. Wow! What variety!
What gorgeous and creative and interesting objects! I love mugs and have too many but I would have been unable to resist the one with the black flying bird! We are looking forward to a family get-together tonight, and again on tomorrow night, and on Sunday for Father's Day and our anniversary! So much to celebrate! Have a wonderful weekend, Viola! xoxo
Such beautiful pieces. I love handmade pottery very much-I collected several kitchen items and art pieces for several years before we retired. I have a whole cupboard full of pottery glasses and cups-they bring me joy-thanks for sharing
Hej Viola!
I get why you had to buy something Viola. I love ceramics too. I think the temptation would be a lot and it would be hard to not buy something. These are all so beautiful. Which did you chose? Have a great weekend. hugs-Erika

You have taken some wonderful photos of the ceramics at the market. I love the little blue bird and the train running around the track. Very talented artists. It must have been difficult to choose only one mug. Thank you for sharing you visit, Viola. Have a great week x
Was für wunderschöne Keramik! - Carola
What a lovely time you had enjoying the ceramics and pottery displays. I love pottery. As a matter of fact, our mugs, tumblers and bowls are ones that were made by a potter friend of ours. Have a wonderful week, Viola!
Some of those ceramics are just beyond beautiful! I love that large bowl and the matching vases or glasses and those terrific vases and mugs. I tell myself I'll never buy another mug -- I have so many -- but I might have to break that rule if I saw these!
Klem
These are all so beautiful. Such skill! l would wear those grey and yellow earrings any day.
AntwortenLöschenI used to love to go to the many craft and pottery street fairs in the 70's. I still have a few items a half-century later. Thanks for this post.

AntwortenLöschenIt is always interesting to attend a craftsman's exhibit without bringing home a handcrafted piece, Viola.

AntwortenLöschenI agree. Nice mugs are . . . nice.
Hvem vet?
AntwortenLöschenRiktig god helg!
Very interesting display!
AntwortenLöschenSuch a fun outing outing and of course you need a new mug.
