Strikke - Knit

For alle som liker det på tysk ... Stiebner Verlag - www.stiebner.com - har gitt ut boken til designeren Erika Knight under tittelen "Texturen Stricken".

Originalutgaven ble utgitt i 2020 under tittelen "texture, 20 timeless garments exploring knit, yarn & stitch". Som tittelen allerede sier, er det 20 modeller i boken å strikke med med trinnvise instruksjoner... 7 gensere, 4 cardigans, 2 hansker og hver 1 frakk, kjole, topp, tunika, vest, skjerf and sjal/kast hver.

Erika Knight has a very popular and quintessentially British aesthetic of design and colour, mostly inspired by the landscape.

Siden jeg er fan av kabelmønster i tillegg til fargespillet, bestemte jeg meg for en langermet genser med kabelmønster, som strikkes sømløst i runder. Spesielt siden strikkemanuset til dette prosjektet kan lastes ned som diagram fra Verlag stiebner.com.

It's wonderful, Stiebner Verlag has published Erika Knight's book "texture. 20 timeless garments exploring knit, yarn & stitch" under the title "Texturen stricken" in German.

The book contains 20 knitting instructions with step-by-step instructions... 7 sweaters, 4 cardigans, 2 gloves and 1 each of coat, dress, top, tunic, waistcoat, scarf and shawl/throw.

Erika Knight has a very popular and quintessentially British aesthetic, with color and design largely inspired by the landscape. She plays with structures and translates the shapes of coast, city and country into stitches ... beautiful models to knit have emerged. 

Since I'm a fan of cable patterns in addition to the play of colors, I decided on a long-sleeved jumper with a cable pattern, which is knitted seamlessly in the round. Especially since the knitting script is available as a diagram for this project on stiebner.com.

I dag er det morsdag i Tyskland. Jeg hilser alle kjærlige mødre på jorden.

Jeg laget en skjorte i bomullsjersey som passer til buksene mine...det er et superbehagelig plagg, og jeg har mer på gang.

I made a cotton jersey shirt to match my pants... it's a super comfy piece of clothing and I have more in the works... it's just nice to play with the fabric :-)

En kamelia ble plantet av hoffgartneren til Pillnitz slott i 1801, og den er fortsatt veldig populær i dag. Og vi besøker dem hvert år...

In 1801, the court gardener of Pillnitz Castle/Dresden/Germany planted a camellia in the castle park, which is still very popular today... we visit it every year...

En av mange gartnere i grønn dress :-)

Kameliaen er nesten 9 meter høy og har en kronediameter på ca 12 meter. Den er beskyttet av et mobilt drivhus, som beskytter den mot frost om vinteren. Kameliaen blomstrer fra midten av februar, den har titusenvis av små, klokkeformede, karmosinrøde blomster som ligner arten vill kamelia. Drivhuset er tilgjengelig via trapper...

The camellia is almost 9 meters high and has a crown diameter of about 12 meters. She is protected by a mobile greenhouse that protects her from frost in winter. The camellia blooms from mid-February, it has tens of thousands of small, bell-shaped, crimson flowers resembling wild camellia species. In the greenhouse you can be very close to the camellia via a 2-storey staircase...

Et besøk til Pillnitz slott og slottspark er alltid hyggelig og de første potteplantene var allerede ute.

I love walking in Pillnitz... the first potted plants were already outside.

Og selvfølgelig benyttet vi anledningen til å besøke noen andre drivhus...

We also visited some other greenhouses in the park...

Spring tours - There was a hike to the Märzenbecherwiesen/Saxon Switzerland National Park... we look forward to it every year. The March cups bloom in March - when the snowdrops have already faded - and the meadows are under nature protection.

Leucojum vernum

Vi gikk en fottur i nasjonalparken til Meadows of March Cups... March Cups (Leucojum vernum) blomstrer i mars... når snøklokkene allerede har falmet..... og en annen av mine favorittturer fører gjennom skogen over enger og jorder direkte til Alma-gården... og det er økologisk iskrem, kaffe og en fantastisk hage med dyr og det er alltid hyggelige mennesker der.

One of my favorite tours between spring and autumn leads directly to the farmer with nice garden... Organic ice cream and coffee and I love coffee and ice cream :-))) The way is quite far, the strengthening is necessary. 

Tours in nature - balm for the soul :-)) the little violets are already blooming and the birds are beginning to sing.

Turer i naturen - balsam for sjelen :-)) De små fiolene blomstrer allerede... og fuglene begynner å synge.
