The rain washed away the snow and there were beautiful hikes, especially in the Saxon Switzerland National Park.

It's always lovely to discover snowdrops, the first signs of spring.
The sun is already incredibly warm, and I was surprised to see the first bees and hear their buzzing.
Dear Viola, I really like that Mountain lodge. I love places with such atmosphere.

AntwortenLöschenYou do get a lot of fun from your snow! It's harder to be so happy in the rain, but I had snowdrops in the garden from late December until February. We have daffodils and a few butterflies now although it is still cold and wet.

Ich laufe bei mir zu Hause mit Langlaufski über die Felder und durch den Wald, sobald der Schnee es zu lässt. Die Sächsische Schweiz - das Elbsandsteingebirge - ist unweit meines Wohnortes und oft Ziel meiner Wanderungen. In der Schweiz bin ich jedoch auch schon Ski gelaufen, jedoch mit Abfahrtsski oder auch mit Tourenski. Liebe Grüsse zu dir Elke.

La région du Parc National Suisse Saxon a l’air grandiose. Quelle chance de pouvoir faire du ski à travers les forêts de votre région, dans une belle neige fraîche que vous avez dû apprécier.
Ici, après des semaines de pluie, le printemps est brusquement là, avec 18 à 20°C mercredi. Février n’a jamais été aussi chaud et pluvieux depuis que l’on relève les données météorologiques. On peut avoir des gelées en mars ou avril, qui sait ?
Aujourd'hui, la pluie est de retour.
Le changement climatique n’a pas fini de nous surprendre.

AntwortenLöschenSewing for sure is fun. I've been a sewist for a long, long, long time BUT, this is my first go at hexagons. I'm currently using Creative Grids 60 Degree Equilateral Triangle Designed by Rachel Cross. I got mine at a local fabric shoppe however, Amazon has them as well.

AntwortenLöschenUnd schon ist es "Schnee von gestern" - - Hier im Bayerwald ist auch fast alles abgetaut, doch die Höhenlagen halten noch stand und auch die großen Schneehaufen von so manchem Straßenrand kühlen sich selber wie ein Kühlschrank.
Das Foto mit der Biene im Schneeglöckenwald ist zauberhaft und passt großartig zum heutigen 1.März!

AntwortenLöschenDie Sächsische Schweiz ist ja wirklich wunderschön, ich erinnere mich noch gut an meinen Besuch vor vielen Jahren. Ja, wir hatten auch immer sehnsüchtig auf die ersten Schneeglöckchen gewartet, und ich habe immer nach den Magnolien geschaut. Wenn die blühten, hatte ich den Eindruck, dass es nun wirklich Frühling wird. Das ist hier alles ein bisschen anders, denn z.B. können die Magnolien bereits im Dezember blühen. Für mich sind es daher eher die Manzanitas, die im Januar die ersten Bienen anlocken und kurz danach der Rosmarin. Jetzt ist es schon richtig frühlingshaft, ich habe heute früh meine erste Tasse Kaffee im Garten genossen, noch bevor ich auf den Wochenmarkt gegangen bin. Später ging's dann ans Unkraut jäten... Da ist noch viel zu tun, aber ich genieße, wie der Garten den Frühling willkommen heißt.
